Vegetable CSA

At Crickhollow we follow the Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) model of farming. That means members sign up for a full season’s worth of herbs and vegetables and make installment payments up-front and throughout the season.

The CSA model allows us to invest in growing the very best food we can!

How it works

Our CSA season runs for 20 weeks, from June to November. You will receive a bundle of 8-10 fresh items each week.  You will receive a mix of regular vegetables that we all know and love – like lettuce, tomatoes, carrots – as well as more unusual vegetables – like rapini or different mixed greens.  We encourage our members to preserve vegetables by freezing, canning or drying and we will provide recipes throughout the season on how to do this.

  • Large Bundles are about a half bushel basket full of vegetables (8-10 items).  Each Bundle feeds a veggie-loving couple or a family.
  • Small Bundles (6-8 items) feed a veggie-loving individual.

Members pick up their bundles either on the farm, or at the Eat Well Market in Hanover. See more details on pick ups.

Pick-Ups

This season, we’re offering two pick-up options:

Tuesdays on the farm, 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
Come and say hello to farmers, admire the vegetables growing in the fields, and pick your own herbs and flowers.  On farm pick ups are great for kids to learn where their food comes from.  You are welcome to walk the gardens and the fields.

Saturdays at the Eat Well Market Hanover, 9 am to 1 pm.
Enjoy a cup of coffee, some live market entertainment, and make friends with the market vendors.
